People work from home a lot now in the post-COVID world. An office chair is something you should probably splurge on, given you’re sitting at your desk or in front of your computer for up to 40 hours a week. Maybe more if you work hard or game in your free time! Whether you live in the United States, United Kingdom or Germany, I’m here to tell you what the best chair for your office is.

United States – AndaSeat

I know some people don’t want a gaming chair for their office. Maybe they think it looks “unprofessional” or something that is meant for gamers. I’m here to tell you they’re wrong! There is nothing wrong with wanting a more comfortable chair for your office or gaming chair. Not to mention, the price point of $299 is great.

I absolute love AndaSeat. I’ve had their chair for 6 months now, and it’s an absolute game changer. The pillow gives me good lumbar support as someone with lower back issues. I also really like how tall it is. A lot of chairs have nothing above the middle of your back. Not only that, but it sort of surrounds the back as the sides stick out. You almost feel like you’re in a car at times, other than the fact you can swivel.

United Kingdom – Stressless

I was browsing Barker & Stonehouse the other day and came across this absolute gem of a chair. The next thing I did was reach out to my friend Oliver from London. I go “hey Oliver, you ever seen this chair?” Sure enough, his company has them in his office! They must be doing well, as these chairs retail for over £2000.

He tells me the function of them is absolutely amazing. The most comfortable office chair in the world according to him. Looking at it, I’m inclined to believe him! It looks like you absolutely sink into it and its very comfortable. Most office chairs have a gap in between the base and the armrest, and I really like that this one doesn’t. Maybe next time I’m in London for an Arsenal game, I’ll sneak into his office to sit in it!

Germany – Trisens

This looks like an ordinary office chair, but the reclining feature is something I’ve actually never seen before. Material by all accounts is that nice soft faux leather you can sink into. As a guy who likes to be comfortable and leans back in his chair frequently, it’s really nice to see a reclining office chair.

Price point of €130 is really solid for this too, and the reviews say it is quite durable. I actually discovered this by browsing OTTO, which is an online store that seems to be some combination of Best Buy and Amazon in Germany.

I know we usually talk about kitchenware here at Kitchen Luxury, but I wanted to touch on office furniture for a change. I think it is very important to a nice home office workspace. As a guy who works pretty hard, I don’t want to have a messed up back! Stay tuned for more reviews about all things home goods.
